Exonerated: Portraits of the Wrongfully Convicted: is an exhibition of sculpted busts of 23 men who spent years of their lives in prison in Louisiana for crimes they did not commit. Innocence Project New Orleans (IPNO) spent years on most of these cases finding undisclosed evidence and discovering prosecutorial misconduct in order to exonerate them. This exhibition's purpose is to draw attention to the many people still incarcerated for crimes they did not commit even as the State of Louisiana is working to make it nearly impossible to pursue justice.
