The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge hosted the first exhibition in Baton Rouge of "Exonerated: Portraits of the Wrongfully Convicted" from March 21 through May 14, 2025 with an opening reception on Sunday, March 23. Twelve of the exonerees whose portraits are part of the exhibition were in attendance, most with a girlfriend or spouse and Jerome Morgan with his wife and two young children. There were over a hundred people who came to the opening and the only complaint was that the gallery was so crowded people were unable to see the busts. Several of the men told bits of their stories about struggles with fighting for their freedom and then fighting for compensation from the State of Louisiana.
